Zen Dogz is an experimental alternative hiphop band. Its style is raw, conveying the urban vibe of Budapest's nightlife. Through energetic beats and lyrics based on sharp puns, we gain insight into their unconventional everyday life. Their unique soundscape is instantly recognisable; an authentic fusion of electronic elements, psychedelic guitars and dirty drum grooves.
One of the main goals of Zen Dogz is to promote hybrid instrumental performances in hip-hop environments. Their first single will be released in 2025, and until then they have already released several singles as a precursor to the EP.
For years now, we have been able to catch what the guys are up to with their own series of events called ZenBuddhistaFightClub. Zen Dogz are typically the kind of band you have to see live to get the full picture. They've played on many stages in Hungary, in Budapest, Pécs, Szeged, but they've also played several gigs in Slovakia.
