Emerging from the Budapest underground, Headless Elegance has been on the Hungarian music scene since 2019. Their first album "Wanderer" won the trust of the audience and the press at an early stage of the band's development, and thanks to this they were selected as a beneficiary of the Start-up Artist Programme.
The international premiere of the album was published on the pages of New Noise Magazine in the US, followed by a "10/10" rating. Metal.hu proclaimed it the album of the year back in January, saying "If we look at the last few years, we can say with absolute certainty that Libra is the best, most dynamic, most professional album released in this country (and I would venture abroad)". The Hungarian Hammerworld magazine also highlighted the quality of the album, its vision, its professionalism and the big step the band has taken compared to their previous album.
Then, in the spring of 2022, the orchestra embarked on a 13-stop European tour, opening up to the international market. This year, they played at many Hungarian and international festivals, such as Hellvill, Flex fest Arad, Rock N Iasi (headliner) and opened for Lazarvs at Barba Negra.
In 2023, the band began writing/recording their 3rd album, "The Dream Within", which was released in February 2024. The new album took the band to a whole new level in every respect. For the first time, they collaborated with international artists/artists such as Australian producer Misstiq, Chelsea Grin frontman Tom Barber, Hollow Front vocalist Tyler Tate and the album was mastered once again by the legendary Travis Smith (Opeth, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeth, Periphery, Slayer, Death, etc.).
Following its release, the album's publications were also presented on the international stage. "The Cure" and "The Threads" were featured on Alex Baker's legendary "Fresh Blood" show on English Kerrang radio, where the songs were played for several weeks. They have been featured on Apple Music's Breaking Metal playlist (138+ countries), "The Cure" has been featured on the Spotify Editorial "All New Metal" (707K followers) playlist and has been written about in portals such as Outburn Magazine, New Noise Magazine etc.
The album was premiered on the main stage of the Dürer Garden in Budapest as the headliner of the Stagediving festival, and in a solo concert at the Akvárium club, which was also sold out. In addition, the band has been performing their new album throughout the year with several solo tours and festival stage shows in Hungary and Europe, performing their new album in several venues.
