A Dope D.O.D. is a Dutch hiphop group that was formed in 2006 from the underground scene in Groningen. The group consists of Skits Vicious, Jay Reaper and former member Dopey Rotten.
Their dark, aggressive sound combines classic hardcore hip hop with modern electronic genres such as dubstep, drum and bass and grime. Their distinctive sound is made memorable by brutal bass, heavy beats and visuals reminiscent of horror movies.
The breakthrough came with their 2011 song "What Happened" and its music video, which quickly went viral on YouTube. After that they toured the world, opening for Limp Bizkit and Korn, and this year they are finally coming to our country.
As a warm-up, Zen Dogz plays heavy, electronic-based hip-hop with live instruments.
